Well here is your racing report for Thursday May 29th on the 6 A.M. Ride. As usual per Jordan the gates do not open in the Park Cities until 6 A.M. so we (Bill Shirer and I) rode over missing the first lap. Blair Baker had violated the 6 rule and as a result had to ride down Mockingbird to make it on time and avoid the gremlins chasing him. So anywho joined in on the end of the first lap. I did have the fond opportunity to watch the Count and Thomas The Train ride straight into three ducks in the middle of the road. I think at this falls picnic we are asking an eye doctor to swing by for free checkups. So Mr Dodge This pounded, Christian still sat at the front and would not let us see his shoes and Shirer Flyer ditched the fun to do his secret coach inspired training. At least we squeezed him at the gates. Dodge This cranked it for the sprint. I tried to lead out Greg but had to sprint to simply come around Dodge This. Greg won thanks to that new Madonne, but Hoyt is angry because he did not zip his Jersey as he raised his arms for the sprint. Honorable mentions for the morning. Lester showed up on his TT rig and was quick to roll the front of the pain trail the whole way. Parks continued his Wednesday night bender with his new asymetrical rear wheel. Either he was riding drunk or trying out a new Massage wheel. You decide. JP/Jordan also showed off what they did with the recent stimulous check from the IRS and bought confused mtb's. Road wheels on a MTB go figure. They sure looked pretty though. (the bikes that is).
Some things to look forward to. Tuesday Fred will be finished with his band practice and be able to rage for the entire show (His band is taking a break from the Bar Mitzvah tour they have been on, Fred plays the spoons). Be sure to tune in Wednesday also as Mabus and the Shirer Flyer will be discussing the Evil Corporations/Corrupt Mofia Unions/and How Clinton and Bush are not that different after all. Meanwhile we have special forces working to find out what type of shoes Christian wears. Thanks to everyone for making the cycling community such a great group of guys to associate with.
